2 Data Storage & Processing
- Local Storage: All presentation decks, slide metadata, text entries, and layout settings are stored locally on your device using an encrypted Room (SQLite) database.
- Media Storage: Any images or photos you select for Image Slides are saved strictly in your device's internal app-private storage.
- Zero Cloud Backups: FaceCam Presentation Recorder operates completely offline. We do not host remote servers, user databases, or cloud sync services.
3 Device Permissions Requested
FaceCam Presentation Recorder requests minimal system permissions strictly required for core app functionality:
📷 Photo Library / Media Access
Requested only when you tap to insert an Image Slide, allowing you to pick photos from your device gallery. We only access the specific images you explicitly choose.
🖥️ Full-Screen Immersive Mode (`WindowInsetsController`)
System API used to temporarily hide status bars and navigation buttons during Presentation Mode.
4 Third-Party SDKs & Analytics
We respect your privacy and device bandwidth:
- No Analytics SDKs: We do not track user behavior, screen visits, or app usage metrics.
- No Advertising IDs: FaceCam Presentation Recorder contains zero advertisements and does not collect advertising IDs.
- No Third-Party Services: No external trackers, Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or telemetric tools are included in the app code.
5 Children's Privacy
Because FaceCam Presentation Recorder does not collect any personal data or require account creation, it is fully safe for users of all ages, including children under 13, in compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR.
6 Changes & Contact
If we make future updates to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this document. Since all data remains on your phone, changes to this policy will not affect your locally stored slides.
